We are excited to be partnering with a fast growing eCommerce business in the Worcester area to help find a Warehouse Operations Manager to play a key part in the strategic growth of the company.
As the Warehouse Operations Manager you’ll be responsible for managing all day to day warehouse operations, improving and implementing new processes and well as monitoring ongoing optimisation and efficiencies in a high growth environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working with Co-packers on site as well as managing the operational team
- Manage all aspects of pick, pack and despatch
- Manage all logistical activities regarding despatch from the warehouse to the customer
- Work with the site manager to schedule resource
- Work with and contribute towards the re-design of the warehouse facility as well as an implementation of a system to automate pick and pack systems
- Manage and develop new distribution channels
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Proven experience managing warehouse operations in a FMCG environment specifically managing direct to customer logistics
- Hands on warehouse operations management experience
- Enthusiastic about working in a high growth, start up environment
- A process improvement mentality
- Highly numerate with good commercial understanding
- Problem solving mindset
