- Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the store and serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries.
- The deputy store manager would oversee and manage deliveries, supervise the checkout area, and monitor store performance.
- Ensure compliance with legal and company health and safety regulations, standards, and guidelines to meet store performance goals.
- Take independent charge of the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams in a fast-paced setting, ideally a previous role as a deputy store manager.
- Proficiency in time management, delegation, and problem-solving.
- Strong customer focus and exceptional communication skills to provide constructive feedback to colleagues for their personal development and store improvement.
- Enthusiasm and motivation to support and inspire the team during each shift.
- Determination to complete tasks within specified timelines, achieve store targets, and maximize productivity.
- Previous experience in monitoring, managing, and enhancing key performance indicators.
- Experience within a food or retail outlet.
