Supply Planner

 
A brilliant opportunity for a graduate to join a leading FMCG business in the Surrey area as a supply planner. My client operates in over 50 countries and has over 60,000 employees and is looking for a bright graduate to join the team. The role is an entry level role, perfect for a graduate who has a passion to work within supply chain and logistics.

As the supply planner, you will develop a successful a supply plan to meet department objectives and ensure the reputation of the company as a leading supplier.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Development of a thorough and accurate supply plan that will enable the company to achieve sales, customer service, and finished goods waste targets while also fostering successful collaboration with factories and internal customers.
• Adjusting the supply plan by communicating changing priorities with the factory, providing information on short-term supply difficulties to Sales/Demand teams, and ensuring stock levels are always within safe limits.
• Keeping an eye on daily sales and change supply plans as needed to keep a steady supply. On a daily/weekly basis, notify Demand planners of any serious service or waste issues.
• Developing good relationships with all factories and develop knowledge to become an expert in all things relating to the factory.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Experience working in the FMCG Supply Chain environment
• Ability to analyse and assess data in relation to key indicators, as well as monitor and evaluate programmes, initiatives, and plans to meet objectives.
• Experience using key software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
