About the Business
You want to know who the company is? You know I can’t disclose that on an advert. What I will say is that they continue to grow YOY and are going in the right direction. Still sounds vague? Yeah well, they’re going to be busy this Christmas and have products that will fly off the shelves. You may even find them when you’re out during the Christmas party.
As the Supply Chain Planner, you’ll understand the difference between made-to-stock supply and made-to-order supply. For this role, you need to have experience in made-to-stock supply. It’s a key role in ensuring customers having the correct amount of product at the right time.
Some of the responsibilities are highlighted below:
- Ensuring sufficient production for made to stock orders.
- Managing 3rd party manufacturers to ensure production is meeting demands.
- Working closely with logistics team to guaranteed stock is going to the right customers.
- Communicating with Demand Planners due to changing forecasts.
You’d need to have experience in made-to-stock supply planning / production planning (this is essential). Managing 3rd party manufacturers is something you thrive off and confident service levels are met. An analytical mindset will also help in this role as you’re going to have to update the ever-changing forecasts.
Problem solving shouldn’t be a problem to you – you would not only be able to come up with short-term solutions for a problem, but also come up with ideas to how to avoid the same problem in future.
Lastly, you will need an entrepreneurial mindset as this business will allow autonomy. You can make a huge difference to the business and bring new ideas to the table!
I’d be lying if I said I will get back to every applicant. However, that’s not always possible so apologies if I don’t respond.APPLY
