Supply Chain Manager

My client is high-end whisky business dedicated to producing and distributing the finest and rarest spirits in the world. With a rich history, a commitment to quality they established themselves as a leading high-end player in the whisky market. They’re seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join and drive continuous improvements! This role is based on output so can be flexible on the traditional 5 day working week.
 
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless procurement,  production, distribution, and delivery of premium whisky products. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our supply chain operations to meet our high standards of quality and ensure customer satisfaction. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with extremely fine and rare whisky.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

• Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and execute a robust supply chain strategy to meet the company’s growth objectives and ensure high-end product quality.

 

• Procurement: Manage the procurement of barrels, and other essential supplies, while negotiating contracts and maintaining supplier relationships.

 

• Production Planning: Oversee production planning, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, inventory management, and quality control.

 

• Inventory Management : Manage the inventory levels across multiple warehouses.

 

• Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance procedures and continuously improve quality control standards to maintain the exceptional quality of our whisky products.

 

• Cost Control: Monitor and optimize supply chain costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising product integrity.

 

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
