Supply Chain Finance Director - Home Based

My client an international fashion brand is searching for a Supply Chain Finance Director to join their operation in a home based role in the Netherlands. My client has a turnover of over £350 million and a world wide client base.

As the Supply Chain Finance Director you’ll be responsible for managing the finance of the supply chain in the Netherlands to ensure the operation is run efficiently and effectively manage all relationships of with head office and 3PL.

Your responsibilities will include;

• Ensuring the Dutch customs ruling is implemented correctly while identifying risk area
• Responsible for EU buy splits and drive efficiencies through the best use of stock
• Act as EU Data Protect Officer
• Lead and manage a team to deliver on projects ensuring profitability
• Work with the key supply chain stake holders to ensure controls are implemented and monitored correctly
• Builld relationship and manage the contact in the freight forwarders to add insight to contracts/negotiations
• Understanding and translating Incoterms & Duty rates for both inbound and outbound shipments

The ideal candidate will have the following;

• A Dutch national and fluent in Dutch
• Relevant accounting qualification
• Proven finance management experience at managerial level
• Knowledge of risk and governance
• Understanding of European markets
• Strong communicator at all levels
• Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders and 3PL providers
