Having seen strong growth over the past few years (mainly D2C but also in retail) the business are looking to hire a performance marketing expert who also has a breadth of experience across the full marketing funnel.
The brand has always catered to a outdoor-loving audience and is loved and respected within this niche – the current CMO is keen to continue this legacy whilst also broadening the appeal and resonating with new audiences. It is, therefore, crucial that this hire is someone who can understand, empathise and talk to as wide a range of audiences as possible (particularly those who the traditional sports/outdoor industry may ignore).
The fundamental requirement here is an exceptional performance marketer who loves data and can combine this skillset with wider, top-of-funnel knowledge in order to build a brand.
You’ll need to demonstrate strong experience of growing through paid social, working closely with designers to quickly test and develop amazing creative, but also with the skills & ambition to invest money into channels that may be non-traditional for a digital role.
It’s initially a standalone role, with 3 separate agency relationships to manage and the plan to build a team longer term. You’ll need to be accessible to London in order to regularly meet with the agencies (every 2 weeks minimum), whilst also being able to travel to a HQ in South West England every month, and willing to travel internationally when required.
Salary is up to £80k, with scope to progress over the coming years. Perhaps more importantly, this is a chance to be part of something great – a brand with a real purpose, surrounded by brilliant people and ambitious goals to scale from £20-£100m (and beyond) over the next few years.
