Senior Merchandiser

Senior Merchandiser required to join a purpose driven, sustainable retail outfit based in Central London. As the Senior Merchandiser you will be leading the Merchandising team and responsible for all thing from product design to end consumer whiles keeping in mind the environmental impact.

Role and responsibilities:

• Creating a strategy for the Merchandising department that aligns with the brand
• Lead, develop and inspire your direct reports and wider team
• Oversee all merchandising channels including ecommerce, D2C and in store
• Lead and present weekly trade and category meetings
• Provide feedback and insights on margins to the Senior Exec team
• Responsible for range planning, development as well as replenishment and budget planning
• Prepare and present seasonal hindsights
• P&L responsibility

 
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Previous Merchandising experience with team management experience
• Familiar with managing P&L and reporting back to finance and senior management
• Proven knowledge of retail processes
• Ability influence at all levels while handling complexity
• A genuine interest and passion for sustainability and having a positive impact on the environment
• A problem solving mentality
• Experience with Shopify and Netsuite advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast paced and changeable environment

The salary on offer is from £55,000 – £65,000 + excellent benefits.
