My client is an Edinburgh based SaaS company who work with some of the largest clients in their given field. Their mission is to provide technology solutions that help sales teams and their customers save time, reduce cost and increase productivity.
 
The ideal candidate for this role is:
An experienced individual who has the ability to lead a growing implementation team while managing and optimising existing systems and processes to enable the business to scale their operations as they grow rapidly. You will enjoy being in a client facing environment and have the ability to manage your own project needs alongside those of your team. You will be highly commercial, providing pre-sales scoping support and ensuring the project delivery is on track and to budget.
 
You will thrive on responsibility and be looking for an opportunity to lead a world-class project team who can deliver at scale on a global basis. Within the role you would be expected to spend 50% of your time managing your own customer facing projects with the remaining time spent managing the team by supporting their project progress, personal development and process optimisation.
 
You will have the tenacity and drive to see a project through to fruition in a fast-paced and complex environment, managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring all parties are aligned to ensure a successful implementation. You will need to be a strategic thinker with the ability to influence and coordinate resources combined with a roll up your sleeves approach and the ability to execute when required to lead your team to success.
 
This role would be ideal for someone with experience of team and project management or account management within a software or project management roll within a consumer goods company who wants to work in a smaller business where you will have the autonomy, responsibility and opportunity to make a significant impact to the growth of the business. 
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation and content team to deliver successful software implementations and ensure high quality of available content for all our customers
  • Manage the full account life cycle from setup, implementation through to driving user engagement and support the team in improving our project success rates and profitability
  • Lead, manage and coach the implementation team and content managers
  • Develop the team to deliver value against our clients’ objectives and in-line with best practice
  • Drive the implementation delivery timetable, liaising with all key internal stakeholders to ensure targets and deadlines are met and resource available
  • Strong commercial awareness; ensure projects are scoped correctly and report on agreed project and team metrics
  • Support content manager in delivering agreed customer content calendar and reports to maximise on-going user engagement
  • Be the escalation point for customers and internal teams when required, work closely with Business Development to scope new opportunities
  • Support business in new product launches when required
  • Collaborate regularly with the rest of the business gain product and industry trends and provide feedback on product capability and direction

 
Required Skills and Experience:

  • An outstanding project or account manager with a proven record of delivering international software rollouts/projects within complex organisations
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to influence and coordinate internal and external resources
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal and collaboration skills with colleagues and clients
  • Passion for solving client challenges and commitment to client experience
  • A growth mindset and proven desire for continuous learning and improvement

 
Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in either software / SAAS implementation or project management
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience with large international clients or global project management
  • Design skills – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator experience
  • Microsoft Excel and data handling skills 

 
Location: Based in Scotland and required (post-covid) in their Edinburgh office 2 days a week
Salary: up to £60,000 + bonus
