Production Scheduler

A great interim opportunity has arisen for a Production Planner to join my client a market leader in their industry on an initial 6 month assignment. The role is working remotely and so you will be a self-motivated individual with the ability to problem solve and improve the production schedule where possible.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating and maintaining the production schedule, identifying improvements where possible
• Balancing demand, production and resource
• Working collaboratively with relevant departments to ensure production schedules are realistic and constraints have been taken into account
• Report on relevant KPI’s to identify trends or use it as an opportunity to improve scheduling
• Providing data to relevant departments for example MRP to meet production demands
• Reporting data around production volume, raw materials and quality control to increase accuracy of production schedule

The ideal candidate will have the following experience;

• Graduate calibre candidate or equivalent working experience
• Proven experience in manufacturing production scheduling
• Experience working in planning systems – SAP ECC essential
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Process improvement mentality
• Ability to build strong and on-going relationships with relevant stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
