Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Reporting to: Operations Manager   Company Overview We are a dynamic organisation specialising in end-to-end supply chain management, offering door-to-door sea freight services, forwarding, warehousing, and distribution. Our team partners closely with clients to manage and optimise every step of the distribution chain, delivering tailored logistics solutions that support their unique operational needs. We’re a values-driven business that believes in teamwork, empowerment, and the ongoing development of our people.   Key Purpose The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator ensures a smooth and efficient end-to-end supply chain process, meeting On Time In Full (OTIF) and other service KPIs. This role involves day-to-day operational oversight of third-party logistics (3PL) and international service providers, while maintaining clear and proactive communication with both customers and internal teams. Performance tracking and continuous improvement are key responsibilities, supported through daily engagement and structured review meetings.   Key Responsibilities   Customer Service & Support Manage the full order process, from booking to delivery, on the ERP system. Build strong relationships with customers, delivering excellent service and managing expectations. Communicate effectively via phone and email, addressing queries and resolving issues quickly. Attend customer meetings, contribute to service reviews, and identify opportunities for improvement. Analyse and identify efficiencies, such as back-haul opportunities and streamlined processes.   3PL Control Oversee UK secondary distribution with 3PL partners, optimising costs while maintaining service levels. Liaise with operations team to resolve incidents promptly. Maintain strong relationships with key contacts within 3PL providers. Monitor and minimise out-of-scope activities and charges. Track quality issues, log incidents, and ensure proof of delivery (POD) compliance.
