We are currently recruiting for a National Account Executive for a well known branded manufacturer of FMCG products. This position is widely seen within this business as a platform to progress to bigger roles & projects within the company and as such we are looking for someone who is ambitious to develop their career quickly.
Our client is a top FMCG company based in London. They have a relaxed environment and make the work place fun, as a result their staff turn over is relatively low.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Assist the SNAM in developing plans to achieve strategic objectives for allocated account/s
- Monitor performance versus key objectives, during and after activities by conducting analysis and making recommendations for action as and when necessary
- Manage budget for area of responsibility
- Complete standard weekly and monthly reporting as well as any ad hoc information as requested
- Stay relevant with market developments that may impact our customers including physical store and online visits. Sharing any findings with the business
- Effectively manage the customer relationship to cover range recommendations, promotions, logistics, Price File, seasonal etc.
- Support on customer projects as directed by the SNAM
- Work in partnership with internal departments to ensure effective communication with customers and the overall delivery of the Company’s objectives
- Operate all business interactions in accordance with the Company’s values and behaviours
Experience/Knowledge and skills:
- Commercial mindset, with evidence of the ability to deliver both proactive and reactive support
- Ability to analyse and evaluate data against key indicators, to monitor performance against targets
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly (verbally and in writing) with people at different levels, both internally and externally
- Proficiency using Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet financial targets
- Experience in FMCG
The role will operate on a hybrid model with 2 days a week in the West London Office
