A great opportunity has arisen for a Merchandiser to join my client a global retail outfit based in South West London. As the Merchandiser you will own and work on replenishment activities against your agreed range and looking for ways to optimize sales, stockholding and profit.
As the Merchandiser in the team you will be supporting you line manager as well as coaching and mentoring the junior members of the team. You’ll be responsible for looking at, analysing and creating a strategy for your category and working on specific projects.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Manage the supplier relationship and forecast with them to ensure maximum availability
- Maintain stock management within the system
- Responsible for the selection of products/brands in your category
- Manage the stock intake and replenishment
- To forecast and plan stock requirements
- Working with Purchasing to drive the strategy for the category daily
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Proven Merchandising experience
- Strong communication skills
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Experience working with SAP advantageous
- Experience working across multichannel supply chains
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience of working with a high number of SKU’s
You will be joining a supportive and dynamic team where no 2 days are the same, you will be given support and development.
This is a hybrid basis, 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
Salary is paying from £34,000 – £38,000 + bonus and benefits
