Materials Manager

A great opportunity for a Supply Chain Material Manager to join my client a fast paced, rapidly growing supply chain team. As the Supply Chain Material Manager you’ll be leading a small team and responsible for management of stock at the hub and across multiple production locations.

You’ll also be responsible for supplier management and for maintaining stock components in the ERP system – we are looking for a collaborative, problem solving individual who is happy to delve into the detail.
Key responsibilities will include;

• Manage movement of stock across production sites needed for the next cycle and monitor safety stock
• Create and share a forecast of materials with suppliers
• Manage stock recount and reconciliation for each production site for month end
• Taking on process improvement projects
• Build and develop relationships with suppliers and co-packers

The ideal candidate will have the following;

• Graduate calibre or equivalent working experience
• Proven experience in a material/planning role from a fast paced FMCG environment
• Highly numerate with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage stakeholders at varying levels
• Strong IT skills including Excel
