A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Master Data Specialist to join my client for a 6 month contract. My client is a multi billion pound turnover business, an industry leading chemicals business. The role is 100% based remotely and will be responsible for all Master Data activities in SAP ECC.
Responsibilities will include:
- Building the schedules within SAP ECC
- Working with and managing a large amount of data including reporting on any variance
- Delivering against functional KPI’s
- To Ensure alignment and transparency with all systems to deliver excellence service via data being right first time
- To Drive continuous improvement of processes & systems to deliver the greatest business benefit – challenge the status quo demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset
- To Develop a strong understanding of what data is important/ required for key processes within the business and act accordingly
- To recommend automatic solutions to drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Working closely with MRP and Production to ensure the information in the system is accurate
- Working on continuous improvement projects
The ideal candidate will have the following experience
- Graduate calibre or equivalent working experience
- Strong Excel skills and previous experience working with SAP ECC essential
- Proven Master Data management skills
- Experience withing Pharma/Chemicals/IT/Systems environment
- Understanding of business process flows, mapping and controlling
- Ability to analyse and evaluate data against key indicators, to monitor programmes, projects and plans to set targets.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people at different levels
