A great opportunity has arisen for a buyer to work for an international food group that is part of a much wider business.
 
The Buyer’s main responsibility is to manage a portfolio of categories in corporate services supporting our Group function. Working in close collaboration with internal stakeholders across all group departments and Supplies, you will deliver excellent Customer service to internal Stakeholders through great sourcing strategies.
 
Responsible:

  • Work with the Procurement Support Team to ensure contracts are set-up and processed.
  • Work with different business partner to measure savings and value.
  • Reduce supplier base whilst working with senior category manager.
  • Proactively manage strategic suppliers.
  • Monitor and advise accordingly any issues which present a risk or opportunity.
  • Build and maintain trusted internal and external Stakeholder relationships, ensuring a professional and consistent approach is taken.

Person Spec:

  • Working towards CIPS or already qualified
  • Have purchasing and buying experience.
  • Have experience managing e-sourcing systems.
  • Project management skills.
  • Have SAP experience.
  • Salary is paying £35,000 plus benefits.
