Finance Manager | 12 Month FTC | London (Hybrid)

We have partnered with a globally recognised data science and artificial intelligence consultancy, currently looking to appoint a Finance Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Opportunity

The Finance Manager will play a central role in supporting financial performance, planning, and decision-making across the business.

They will partner closely with commercial and operational teams, providing insight, challenge, and clarity on financial performance while ensuring strong financial control and reporting standards are maintained.

This role offers exposure to a highly analytical, data-led organisation where finance is deeply embedded in driving strategic outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading month end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Owning budgeting and forecasting cycles, working closely with key stakeholders
  • Delivering insightful performance analysis to support commercial decision-making
  • Partnering with business leaders to provide financial guidance and challenge
  • Monitoring costs, revenue, and profitability across projects and business units
  • Supporting continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting
  • Contributing to strategic planning and longer term financial modelling

Requirements:

This role would suit a commercially minded finance professional who is comfortable operating in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Candidates are likely to have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Strong experience in management reporting, forecasting, and business partnering
  • The ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth or project-based environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
