The Role:
This role involves managing indirect spend, ensuring the timely delivery of parts and services, and aligning procurement processes with business and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities within the indirect categories while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Analyse the current spend data to find cost-saving opportunities in line with business KPIs.
- Develop and sustain a reliable, sustainable supply chain for alternative parts and services.
- Assist in developing and implementing contracts and long-term agreements for newly sourced parts and services.
- Manage bids and tenders for all contracting work.
You:
- Experience in Manufacturing / Procurement
- Experience working with suppliers.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the business.
- Ability to build key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Punctual, methodical, adaptable, and reliable.
- Good negotiation & analytical skills.
Salary up to £45K + bonus
