My client, an international market leading food business, is seeking an ambitious Imports & Exports Manager who is eager to take a step up into management. This role will require strong Brexit knowledge and experience.

As the Imports & Exports Manager, you will be responsible for the company’s imports (70%) and exports (30%), handle shipping documentation, and manage a small team of direct reports.
Responsibilities include:
· Ownership of the import/export process ensuring goods are delivered on time and in full.
· Management of suppliers and 3pl partners.
· Management of all the shipping documentation (regulations and customs documentation).
· Leadership of a team.
· Project management taking logistics concepts from idea to implementation.
Requirements:
· Strong experience within logistics operations
· Excellent Brexit knowledge
· Exceptional customs experience (imports and exports)
· A proven track record of managing a number of different supplier relationships
(Previous experience of managing a team is preferred but not essential)
