Their software enables sales teams to quickly and easily create marketing materials that combine the power of their global brands with customised, locally relevant messaging.

The businesses flagship product is currently used by several major consumer goods brands in over 30 countries and we continue to expand globally to achieve our vision of becoming the global market leader in our industry. The Implementation team plays a critical role in the success of the business responsible for managing the implementation of our software from the initial contract win through to go-live providing consultancy and excellent customer service throughout.

The Role

The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced individual who can manage a growing implementation team while managing and optimising existing systems and processes to enable us to scale our operations as we grow rapidly. You enjoy being in a client facing environment and can manage your own project needs alongside those of your team. You will be commercial, providing pre-sales scoping support and ensuring our project delivery is on track and to budget.

Someone who thrives on responsibility and is looking for an opportunity to work with a world-class project team who can deliver at scale on a global basis. Within the role you would be expected to spend 50% of your time managing your own customer facing projects with the remaining time spent managing the team by supporting their project progress, personal development and process optimisation including the management of customer content on our design software.

We are looking for a candidate who has the tenacity and drive to see a project through to fruition in a fast-paced and complex environment, managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring all parties are aligned to ensure a successful implementation.

You will need to be a strategic thinker with the ability to influence and coordinate resources combined with a roll up your sleeves approach and the ability to execute when required to lead your team to success.

This role would be ideal for someone with experience of team and project management or account management within a software or FMCG company who wants to work in a smaller business where you will have the autonomy, responsibility and opportunity to make a significant impact to the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation and content team to deliver successful software implementations and ensure high quality of available content for all our customers
  • Manage the full account life cycle from setup, implementation through to driving user engagement and support the team in improving our project success rates and profitability
  • Lead, manage and coach the implementation team and content managers
  • Develop the team to deliver value against our clients’ objectives and in-line with best practice
  • Drive the implementation delivery timetable, liaising with all key internal stakeholders to ensure targets and deadlines are met and resource available
  • Strong commercial awareness; ensure projects are scoped correctly and report on agreed project and team metrics
  • Support content manager in delivering agreed customer content calendar and reports to maximise on-going user engagement
  • Be the escalation point for customers and internal teams when required, work closely with Business Development to scope new opportunities
  • Support the business in new product launches when required
  • Collaborate regularly with the rest of the business to gain product and industry trends and provide feedback on product capability and direction

Required Skills and Experience

  • An outstanding project or account manager with a proven record of delivering international software rollouts/projects within complex FMCG organisations
  • 7+ years of people management experience
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to influence and coordinate internal and external resources
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal and collaboration skills with colleagues and clients

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Ability to speak foreign languages
  • Experience in the drinks, hospitality or tech industry
  • Experience with large international clients or global project management
