Head of Warehouse Operations

We are excited to be partnering with a fast growing eCommerce business in the Worcester area to help find a Head of Warehouse Operations to play a key part in the strategic growth of the company. As the Head of Warehouse Operations you’ll be responsible for managing all warehouse operations, improving and implementing new processes and well as monitoring ongoing optimisation and efficiencies.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working with Co-packers on site as well as managing the operational team
• Ownership of customer service, procurement, customer service and fulfilment
• Manage all logistical activities regarding despatch from the warehouse to the customer
• Accountable for warehouse safety, quality, cost and delivery while having process improvement at the forefront of mind
• Managing re-design of the warehouse facility as well as an implementation of a system to automate pick and pack systems
• Manage and develop new distribution channels

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Proven experience managing warehouse operations in a FMCG environment specifically managing direct to customer logistics
• Ability to manage 3PL and freight forwarding relationships
• A process improvement mentality
• Strong commercial understanding
• Experience in implementing a warehouse system advantageous
• Ability to deal with a high growth, changeable environment
