A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Supply Planning Manager to join my client a consumer business based in the Greater London area. My client is a SME business where you’ll be leading a small team as well as managing suppliers through to retailers as well as on their online platform.
This is a very cross functional role and as the Senior Supply Planning Manager you’ll be working with other Senior Managers across the business and responsible for continuous improvement projects.
The responsibilities will include;
- Day to day management of the supply chain team to deliver against all KPI’s
- Managing the supplier relationship, actively working with them to improve performance where possible
- Responsible for continuous improvement of processes
- Supporting and part taking in the S&OP process from a planning perspective
- Deliver on availability of product and escalate areas of risk where appropriate
The ideal candidate will have the following;
- Proven experience managing an end to end supply chain
- Strong communication and influencing skills with key senior stakeholders
- Strong IT skills and highly numerate
- Experience managing and developing a team
- Experience with supply chain process and process improvement
