My client is a world leading drinks business with a proud heritage and rich history of strong brands. They are looking for a proactive and tenacious Head of Marketing to join their team in London.

Looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, the Head of Marketing will be responsible for the creation and execution of the marketing strategy in each key market; UK, Europe, Americas. Managing all elements of the marketing mix including brand plans, category insights and customer/national activations for the business’ leading brands. Developing and training the UK based team to enable delivery of budgeted annual and longer-term volume and profit objectives.

As the Head of Marketing you will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

  • Supporting the Global Marketing Director in the achievements of the portfolio targets including; market share, brand awareness and media share
  • Oversee the UK based Trade Category and Brands Teams, ensuring they are executing all ATL and BTL communication campaigns; working with external agencies within the context of the brand objectives
  • Building and expanding the business’ core branded product portfolio  
  • Driving cross-functional teams to manage projects end to end across the brand portfolio
  • Owning the budget planning and reconciliation processes in line with the 5year plan
  • Accountability for the development of training/ development plans for the team to identify, nurture and coach talent

As a Head of Marketing, you will be/have:

  • Degree educated in Business/Marketing (or a related discipline)
  • 10+ years’ experience in a related marketing role within the FMCG/Consumer Goods industry (drinks experience is desirable)
  • Strong awareness of the customer environment and needs as well as retail metrics
  • Strong experience of consumer identification and the ability to uses methodologies, research tools and insights.
  • A proven track record in people/team management and coaching

Salary: c.£70,000 + 10% bonus
