My client is a leading distributor and innovator of snacks in the FMCG industry and they are seeking a proactive, driven, and energetic recent graduate who is looking to begin their sales career. They are looking for a Sales Executive to join their Sales team in office 5 days p/w, reporting into the Head of Sales.
The ideal candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
- Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
- Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
- Forecasting and presenting to senior stakeholders
- Prepare sales and marketing presentations
- Participate in national/international food exhibitions
Qualifications
- A recent graduate with a drive to succeed in their sales career
- Experience and working knowledge of Excel
- Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
