My Client is looking for a French Speaking Quality Manager to join there leading food manufacturing company. Within your role as French Speaking Quality Manager your responsibilities will include managing customers’ technical requirements, maintaining relationships with customers, overseeing technical aspects of products, handling complaints, and participating in various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing customers’ technical requirements, including updates and changes.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and meeting their expectations.
  • Ensuring customers’ technical websites are up-to-date.
  • Completing technical specifications and required documents for customers.
  • Organizing and attending customers’ audits and visits.
  • Handling customer complaints until resolution.
  • Monitoring product quality to meet specifications and quality assurance standards.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and participating in cross-functional projects.
  • Checking artworks and assets for legal compliance.
  • Building proactive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Taking initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness in work processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluent in French
  • A degree in Food Science or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards like HACCP, BRC, or FSSC 22000.
  • Experience working with UK retailers and providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at different levels.
  • Analytical skills and ability to cross-check information.
  • Proficiency in software like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK and EU, with a clean driving license.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with food labelling legislation.
