As Demand Planning Manager, you’ll lead the S&OP process and manage a team of demand planners, driving forecast reliability and service level targets that directly impact business performance. This is a strategic role where you’ll facilitate data-driven business planning decisions, implement performance monitoring systems, and lead system improvement projects that optimise sales volume planning across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the S&OP process, ensuring forecast accuracy and reliability across all planning cycles
  • Manage and develop a team of demand planners, providing coaching and performance feedback
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators including forecast bias and accuracy metrics
  • Facilitate data analysis and insights to support strategic business planning decisions
  • Drive system improvement projects to enhance demand planning processes and tools
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to align sales volume planning with business objectives
  • Identify and resolve forecast variances, implementing corrective actions as needed

Requirements

  • Proven 6 years in a dedicated Demand Planning role within an S&OP environment
  • Experience managing a team
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Proven experience implementing and managing KPIs and performance monitoring systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, international environment

Salary is from £60,000 – £70,000 + bonus and benefits
