Demand Planning Manager

As Demand Planning Manager, you’ll lead the S&OP process and manage a team of demand planners, driving forecast reliability and service level targets that directly impact business performance. This is a strategic role where you’ll facilitate data-driven business planning decisions, implement performance monitoring systems, and lead system improvement projects that optimise sales volume planning across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the S&OP process, ensuring forecast accuracy and reliability across all planning cycles
- Manage and develop a team of demand planners, providing coaching and performance feedback
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators including forecast bias and accuracy metrics
- Facilitate data analysis and insights to support strategic business planning decisions
- Drive system improvement projects to enhance demand planning processes and tools
- Collaborate with commercial teams to align sales volume planning with business objectives
- Identify and resolve forecast variances, implementing corrective actions as needed
Requirements
- Proven 6 years in a dedicated Demand Planning role within an S&OP environment
- Experience managing a team
- Proficiency in SAP
- Proven experience implementing and managing KPIs and performance monitoring systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, international environment

Salary is from £60,000 – £70,000 + bonus and benefits
