The role

My client is a Global SME FMCG company based in London who have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Coordinator to join their team. This individual role is to assist customers’ needs, queries and escalations to ensure best-in-class customer experience is maintained.
The key purpose of the Customer Service Coordinator is to offer professional assistance to all of their customers and prospective customers. This role requires exceptional communication skills to ensure that the communication with not only the customers but other teams within the business remain effective. In addition, The ability to speak a European language is also a big plus as the role requires them to ensure timely liaison with European customers, suppliers and distributors. 

Main duties

  • Work closely with customers globally to understand issues and provide suitable solutions
  • Effectively resolve customer queries and escalations
  • Provide support to customers via telephone, email, live chat, and video chat
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and flag frequent questions and complaints
  • Work with other departments to ensure consistent customer service levels across the company
  • Correspond with other departments to guarantee excellent customer service is being provided.

The Person:

  • At least 1-2 yrs of customer service experience acorss online, telephone and webcat platforms 
  • Knowledge of a European language is a big plus
  • Team player who will want to help improve the department and company.
  • Experience within a customer service role.
  • Experience with CUstomer Service platforms
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and organised individual.
