We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Professional to join our client a leading food FMCG business as a Customer Demand Planner.
As a key member of the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for managing the Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment process with select customers. Working closely with both the sales team and customers, your primary objectives will be to enhance forecast accuracy, deliver exceptional customer service, and minimise waste.
On a day-to-day basis, you will proactively identify supply risks, develop contingency plans, address store availability gaps, enhance shelf availability, monitor daily sales, and adapt to forecast changes.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience in demand planning within the FMCG sector
- Familiar with CPFR
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Familiarity with retail customer systems
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities
- Flexible and creative problem-solving skills
You will be joining a supportive and close knit team who are focused on the development of their colleagues. You will also have the opportunity to work on cross functional projects to enhance your experience.
This position offers a hybrid Work-from-Home/Office arrangement, with occasional travel within the UK and periodic visits to manufacturing sites in the UK and Europe.
Salary from £40,000 – £45,000 + bonus and excellent benefits
