As a Client Manager your goal is to develop an established client relationship using a consultative selling approach to drive sustainable strategic growth benefiting both businesses. Focused on their print channel, you’ll work alongside your client team to build loyalty journeys using comprehensive shopper data and deliver best in class marketing campaigns from initial idea and strategy development to briefing, implementation and evaluation.
In the retail marketing sphere your days will be fast and varied with a range of responsibilities:
·Develop proposals and strategies based on client objectives, budgets, shopper behaviours and wider market forces.
·Foster a collaborative, open relationship with your retail client to achieve their objectives, advise on best practice during briefing, support their evaluation and learnings.
·Demonstrate ownership of your business area through accountability for all tasks related to your campaigns, from briefing to invoicing.
·Seek opportunities within your campaign remit to achieve financial targets, proactively tracking and reporting on forecast changes as needed.
·Work in collaboration with internal stakeholders to implement and review activity within agreed guidelines to the highest quality standard.
·Nurture a culture of excellence and accountability in everything you do, building a profile as a trusted and highly competent member of the team through consistent, confident communication.
·Be an active participant in the wider business supporting with ad hoc requests, initiatives and engagements as required.
·Mindset of Excellence from communications to process steps and market knowledge you demonstrate a consistent skillset, desire to learn and drive for continuous growth & improvement.
·Proven track record with 2+ years in the Retail, CPG or FMCG industries or working in Marketing. Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing activities that deliver on ambitious financial targets and generate positive ROI.
·Excellent relationship and communication skills showcasing a confidence in collaborating with stakeholders at all levels; writing and delivering presentations with impact.
·A problem solver comfortable with identifying opportunities for positive change who’s not afraid to do things differently.
