They are seeking passionate and driven individuals with a solid understanding of the UK spirits market, ideally with experience in the FMCG or alcoholic beverages industry and business development expertise. Role Objectives:

  • Enhancing brand presence by implementing activation and promotional programmes across independent retailers and cash & carry outlets. This includes delivering outstanding performance and execution to boost volume and distribution of their portfolio.
  • Assisting Cash & Carry National Account Managers with activations and merchandising, while identifying growth opportunities for the portfolio and monitoring competitor activities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Territory Management: Manage and build relationships with independent retailers and cash & carry accounts to boost sales.
  • Sales Targets: Implement strategies to meet targets, using a consultative approach to secure sales.
  • Product Promotion: Conduct product presentations and tastings to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong connections with key decision-makers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Market Insights: Gather and share market and competitor information to inform sales and product strategies.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain sales records and prepare reports using CRM tools.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams for efficient order processing and customer support.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent (Business degree preferred).
  • Proven field sales or business development experience ideally in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with retailers.
  • Results-driven with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Proficient in CRM software, MS Office, and sales tools.
  • Valid driver’s licence and readiness to travel within the territory.
