The Role: They are seeking an experienced Senior National Account Manager to join the Wholesale & Contract Catering Team. This is a high-impact role responsible for managing a portfolio of direct customer accounts within the National Wholesale Out of Home market. You will balance strategic relationships with central functions such as commercial, supply chain, digital, and marketing teams while also enhancing visibility and engagement with sales channels.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the customer P&L to meet business targets and profitability goals.
- Develop and implement Joint Business Plans (JBPs) that drive growth and profitability across key product categories.
- Identify new business opportunities and manage the sales funnel to drive distribution and expansion.
- Analyse customer performance, identify trends, and take corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with category, finance, and digital teams to drive new market propositions.
- Maintain robust stakeholder relationships both internally and externally to support business growth.
- Lead monthly commercial business cycles, including forecasting, trade spend management, and demand planning.
- Manages key stakeholders both internally and externally to continue to drive new ideas and growth in the channel.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales within the FMCG or foodservice industry.
- Experience managing wholesalers and contract caterers is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated success in delivering on KPIs, including new business development and profitability targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with key decision-makers.
- Results-oriented, with a proactive and strategic approach to sales management.
