Role – Brand Manager – Branston
Location – Chiswick Park (2 days per week)

Founded in 1804, Mizkan is a family-owned food business that has become the world’s leading sushi seasoning supplier. With over 200 years of expertise in crafting high-quality food products, Mizkan boasts a global annual turnover exceeding £1 billion.

Continuing its legacy of excellence, Mizkan Euro expanded into the UK over 10 years ago through acquisitions, add to its distinguished portfolio some of the UK’s top food brands: Haywards Pickled Vegetables, Sarson’s Vinegar, and Branston Pickle. Since that time we have developed out range and added challenger brands such as OSU within the Apple Cider Vinegar category.

We are now looking for a Brand Manager to lead the largest brand in our portfolio – Branston.

We are seeking a high-performing brand marketing talent with expertise in managing brand and media budgets. In addition the successful candidate will have experience in creating and executing annual brand plans, managing the Brand P&L, and overseeing Price and Pack Architecture.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Optimise and implement long-term strategy across the Brand product portfolio
  • Lead annual brand planning across the channels
  • Lead management and optimisation of Price, Pack Architecture for the brand
  • Monitor Brand performance in the market and against competitors whilst keeping up with trends and report back to the business
  • Work with the commercial team to plan seasonal activity and shopper marketing plans
  • Lead all agency relationships
  • Coordinate with the innovation team to develop and manage innovation launch plans
  • Directly line manage 1 ABM with a focus on developing their skills to take on more responsibility in the future

Key Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of brand marketing experience in the FMCG / Consumer industry
  • Experience managing a Brand P&L
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage teams
  • Knowledge of exceptional marketing levers
  • Line management experience desired

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to connect to our vision for the brand. We’re looking for a great communicator to work cross functionally as well as influencing at a senior level to enable us to deliver exceptional commercial results for the Branston range.
