They are a born social and saas-enabled data company that is determined to evolve measurement to the needs of advertising. Having built the world’s first fun survey, they have opened doors to previously unobtainable data, while uncovering strategic insight, and elevating standards within research and marketing measurement solutions.

Their clients include 80% of the top 20 global influencer marketing agencies and brands. They have also won industry awards for their product, tech and team. They have strong growth ahead and they’re now looking to expand their Delivery and Services team to support the business growth.

Context
Influencer marketing is a very exciting, young, and fast-growing industry; it surpassed the market size of a billion dollars in 2016, hit $21bn this year, and is projected to be over $130bn by 2030. Influencer is going mainstream, yet mainstream measurement can’t prove its power. My client can. Advertising has evolved, while measurement hasn’t. They’ve set out to evolve measurement.

Role
The Insight Associate Director role will be responsible for supporting and expanding Solutions & Delivery function of the business as it continues to scale. You will be tasked with supporting the creation of Brand Lift studies and exploratory research from client brief to final delivery and debrief. You will have the opportunity to work closely with, collaborate and learn from other teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and the founders. At the heart of the role is managing your own team to decipher the story that lies in the data to create compelling and insightful campaign reports.

This role will suit an analytical person who is passionate about client service, team management and motivation, creative storytelling with data, and the desire to learn and challenge yourself in a fast-paced start-up.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Management – Manage an Insight Manager and Insight Executive to set up surveys according to client briefs, manage data collection, analyse data and translate insight into story-focused and actionable recommendations for Brand Lift reports.
  • Strategy – Collaborate with team to test client hypotheses, uncover why their marketing campaigns had the impact they did, identify optimisation opportunities within influencer selection, messaging, targeting, and distribution to give our clients ROI over and above competitors.
  • Communication – Regularly communicate with key internal and client stakeholders on your projects, from client requests, to project managing, ensuring timely and impactful on brief deliverables.
  • Tech – use our proprietary software to create and analyse surveys. Recruit responses by distributing and managing surveys on social media ads.

What skills are we looking for?

  • 6-7 years of working experience in an insight or research role (social, marketing or media environment is a plus)
  • Exceptional skills in data analysis, excel, deck creation, and presenting
  • Proficiency in quantitative research and survey design
  • Experience designing and implementing research related to brand lift and a passion for social media industry trends
  • At least 1-2 years of experiencing managing junior team members
  • Strong communication and data visualisation skills, especially with senior internal and external stakeholders 
  • Experience managing multiple projects, multiple stakeholders, and multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, and attention to detail
