They have an enviable brand portfolio and are constantly looking to innovative their product range and category. The Role:
They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Brand Manager to join the team and assist the Marketing Manager in implementing marketing strategies to boost brand awareness and meet key business targets. Your role will encompass various responsibilities, including brand management, new product development, media support, business analysis, financial oversight, and sustainability initiatives. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about marketing in the FMCG industry to contribute significantly to our brand’s success.

Key Responsibilities:
Brand Management

  • Support the execution of marketing plans to enhance consumer experiences and achieve brand goals.
  • Assist in developing and presenting annual brand plans to key customers.
  • Lead the execution of marketing projects and activities, coordinating closely with the sales team.
  • Collaborate with the shopper team to implement branded activations.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, factories, and the central marketing team.

New Product Development

  • Gather consumer insights to identify business opportunities and drivers.
  • Manage the launch of new products from benchmarking and research to retailer sell-in and activation.
  • Oversee the development and approval of product artwork, working with creative agencies and the Quality team.
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery through proactive communication with the central marketing team.

Media

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in creating media assets.
  • Evaluate media campaign effectiveness using tools like the Brand Health tracker and CSI media evaluation tool.

Business Analysis

  • Conduct monthly analyses and reports on brand performance, including sell-in, sell-out, and consumer panel data, as well as competitor tracking.
  • Identify market risks and opportunities to develop growth plans aligned with business objectives and brand goals.

Finance

  • Manage brand budget reconciliation and PO creation.
  • Oversee the brand P&L, working closely with the FP&A team.

Sustainability Initiatives

  • Lead sustainability projects across the brand portfolio, collaborating with project managers and central packaging teams to enhance packaging recyclability.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in FMCG marketing (food industry experience is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with systems such as Nielsen/IRI/Kantar.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English (French language skills are a plus but not required
