Supply Chain Director

Vertical Advantage are thrilled to be partnering with a start up ecommerce business on a search for their Supply Chain Director, this is a newly created role to enable to them to scale the business after successful 2 years of trading.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Supply Chain or a Supply Chain Director with significant D2C/eCommerce experience to come in and shape the supply chain through transformation projects and growth.  This is fully remote role!

As the Supply Chain Director you’ll be leading a team comprised of customer service, planning, purchasing and product development. You’ll responsible for optimizing the current supply chain and leading process improvement projects. Presently the business is trades purely online but are hoping to move into the retail space in the next year.

• Overseeing the team leaders to ensure company KPI’s are met while keeping open communication with the senior leadership team.
• Manage and monitor the 3PL statistics
• Project manage and set up new geographical locations
• Work with the co-packers to maintain/improve quality
• Improve efficiencies, reduce waste and cost by creating innovative solutions or re-negotiation.
