NPD Planner

A market leading FMCG business, renowned for their portfolio of fantastic food and drink brands globally is looking for a NPD Planner to join their World-class Supply Chain team!

As the NPD Planner you will be responsible for planning and executing the critical path from manufacturing sites to the customer. Also, you will be involved with new projects within NPD and managing the wider supply chain team to ensure new product launches are executed effectively.
 
The NPD Planner responsibilities will include;

• Management of the critical path to ensure products are launched OTIF.
• Liaise on a daily basis with manufacturing sites to ensure productions schedules are met
• NPD tracking and be able to manage numerous projects at any given time
• Strong experience with working on innovation for new products
• Liaise directly with the wider supply chain team to align with customers expectations

The ideal candidate will have the following;

• Proven NPD planning experience/understanding of working in a FMCG Supply Chain/manufacturing planning role 
• Understanding of the sale and operation planning process
• Proficiency using key software (Excel and SAP)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Highly numerate and analytical
• Ability to negotiate and influence at senior level
