This is an opportunity to join one of the World’s leading names in the FMCG sector as they undergo an exciting Supply Chain & Logistics transformation!
The key objective of the role is to deliver Logistics initiatives ensuring development of the Logistics network to fully optimise key cost indicators whilst developing excellent Customer Service & physical Logistics performance. This will be achieved through project/event management & support performance of all 3rd party logistics service providers.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage key retailer events ensuring high service levels through careful budget management.
- Identify and lead Supply Chain initiatives with convenience and discounter customers.
- Support end-to-end Supply Chain initiatives with top 6 customers through Customer Logistics Managers.
- Identify Logistics Network improvements and support / lead development opportunities.
- Identify container / vehicle fill improvement through load efficiency or consolidation.
- Support regional sourcing to run regular global and regional tenders and manage local implementation.
Cost Management:
- Individually identify and lead initiatives realising cost efficiencies >1% of total Logistics budget annually.
- Develop Cost-to-serve reporting capability to enable logistics reporting at customer and SKU level leading to Cost-to-serve analysis and customer behaviour initiatives.
- Support Logistics Manager through construction and subsequent management of annual Logistics budget.
Your experience:
- Strong experience managing/leading Logistics processes in an FMCG environment
- Experience managing 3PLs
- Project management background
- Continuous improvement mindset
