A 3 month contract opportunity has arisen for a Home Based Demand Planner to join my client a leading chilled food business for a 100% home based role during a very busy time for the team.
As the interim demand planner you will be working on creating a robust and accurate customer demand plan as well identifying gaps in stock availability, tracking sales and adjust the forecast accordingly.
Responsibilities will include;
- Creating and working on a rolling customer forecast
- Working cross functionally with the wider supply chain team on forecast adjustments
- Improving the forecast accuracy on the mid-short term forecast
- Highlighting supply risks
- Pushing customer service delivery boundaries to ensure the highest level of service
The ideal candidate will have the following;
- Graduate calibre or equivalent experience
- Previous demand planning/forecasting experience from a FMCG environment
- Highly analytical and numerate
- Strong IT skill including Excel
- Experience managing retail accounts/customer collaboration highly advantageous
