Position Overview
As an Inventory Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in managing third-party co-packing operations and ensuring inventory control standards are maintained across diverse international locations. You’ll be responsible for processing detailed inventory transactions, managing financial reconciliations, and collaborating with operations and finance teams to resolve issues and drive efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with complex supply chain operations whilst maintaining accuracy in financial reporting and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Drive inventory control standards across third-party co-packing plants through consistent process adherence and unified working relationships
- Process detailed inventory reports and transactions in SAP to maintain accuracy and support financial reporting
- Manage all financial aspects of plant inventory, including reconciliations, postings, and liaison with the finance department
- Review and negotiate financial losses related to inventory, recapturing financial values where possible
- Complete invoice processing within agreed deadlines and ensure timely turnaround of production, receipts, and sales
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end stock book reconciliations
- Review production yield and wastage quarterly to identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with the operations team to resolve inventory discrepancies and optimise processes
- Communicate effectively with co-packing partners across different cultures to ensure consistent adherence to company standards
Requirements
Essential skills and experience:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehousing
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of inventory functions and stock control principles
- Ability to handle complex details and ambiguity whilst maintaining focus on priorities
Desirable skills and experience:
- SAP experience, particularly in inventory management modules
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory management or stock control
- Bilingual capability in any EMEA language
