Our client, a global collective of self-starters with extensive experience, is seeking a talented National Account Manager to drive sales and retailer relationships across the UK and Europe for their portfolio of innovative brands. 

Position Overview 

As a National Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in owning and nurturing relationships with key retail partners across the UK and Europe. You will be responsible for driving product presentations, seasonal sell-ins, and ensuring strong retailer buy-in for new launches and marketing initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of our client’s brands and contribute to their mission of creating a new frontier of brands that are more inclusive, sustainable, and responsible. 

Responsibilities 

  • Own the relationship with key retail partners across the UK and Europe for our client’s brands 
  • Lead product presentations and seasonal sell-ins, ensuring strong retailer buy-in for new launches and marketing initiatives 
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to plan and execute best-in-class shopper marketing campaigns tailored to regional and retailer-specific strategies 
  • Ensure flawless execution of commercial plans in-store and online, working closely with retail partners, trade marketing, and operations 
  • Lead the development and alignment of Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key retailers 
  • Own financial forecasting, budget tracking, and commercial planning for assigned accounts 
  • Monitor and manage promotional investments and control trade spend to ensure optimal ROI 
  • Develop annual account plans, aligning sales, promotions, and marketing support with overall business objectives 
  • Act as the bridge between sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to deliver aligned objectives and timelines 
  • Provide regular performance updates, insights, and data-driven recommendations to the Commercial Director and wider team 

Requirements 

  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial/account management role. 
  • Proven experience managing major retail accounts in the UK 
  • Strong understanding of shopper marketing, retail execution, and financial planning 
  • Experience developing and aligning Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with retailers 
  • Comfortable managing trade spend and promotional budgets to drive efficiency 
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills 
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment 
  • Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with a US-based team leader 
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus 
  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed
