About the Role:
As a Shopper Activation Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing best-in-class shopper marketing plans across multiple retail customers. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Category teams, and key suppliers to activate brand plans both in-store and online. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of shopper marketing budgets, drive ROI, and lead impactful activations across key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the Shopper Marketing Plan, ensuring alignment with brand and commercial strategies.
- Manage the in-store budget and oversee shopper marketing activities across the retail sector.
- Build and execute account-specific brand plans, including promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Partner with Amplify Instore Merchandising services, overseeing annual investment
- Evaluate and measure ROI on all shopper marketing activity, creating a long-term investment plan.
- Act as the key point of contact for specified accounts on all shopper marketing initiatives.
- Use shopper insights to drive engagement, conversion, and sales, tailoring activations across different retail formats (main store, convenience, online).
- Manage the Shopper Marketing and Trade Allowance budgets, ensuring efficiency and impact.
What We’re Looking For:
- FMCG experience in a Shopper/Trade Marketing role.
- A passion for shopper marketing, with a strong understanding of in-store and online activation.
- Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Proven track record of building relationships across teams and external partners.
- Highly structured and organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to execute plans at pace.
- Analytical mindset – comfortable working with data from Nielsen and Kantar to inform strategy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations.
- A positive, can-do attitude, with enthusiasm and a drive for personal development.
